Angels and Spiritual

The winged form intrigues me, the figure as divine. Often my inspiration comes from observing cloud formations as they billow over the field behind my studio. Winged creatures symbolize the human need for grandeur, aspiration and the hopeful belief that there is more to this life than the obvious.

I also like to explore the meanings behind religious symbolism, extracting an essence from each piece, the strength and power of the Madonna, the anguish of crucifixion, the total acceptance of the human condition by Bodhisattva. All my spiritual sculptures and angel sculptures have a special meaning for me.
