I created Pittsburgh Rehearsal from a sketch drawn during one of my times at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. In this work I try with a minimum of color and line to express the movement and velocity of the two dancers in flight during their grand jete. On red paper with contrasting teal pastel for the female dancer and blue for the male it seems as though they are almost passing through each other.
Pittsburgh Rehearsal is on acid free paper, copyright 2020. Currently it is unframed. The Gallery Director, Patricia Purdy has decades of experience in framing and design and can help you match this work to your home decor. Please contact us at River Studios for more information.
