Yellow Line is an original pastel of a female nude reclining figure drawn from a live model. I find that the strong lines and open space of the paper is all that is needed to make the work complete. The yellow pastel line accents the upper torso, hips and legs. With just a touch of red to indicate the toenail polish. To some Yellow Line might seem simple but that is the masterly acknowledgement between the painting and the artist of knowing when a work of art is finished.
