Description
Other Side of Eden is a seminal work of mine. There are 4 versions in different sizes. The first was 20 inches in height and was created and cast in 1980 in an edition of 3 with 2 artist proofs. Subsequently there was a 5 foot version created and cast in 1993 in a five foot version which is shown in the photograph. This photo is of the sculpture at the Chesterwood Museum during one of my artist residencies during the summers of 1994 through 2003. This sculpture is number 3 in an edition of 9 and is now in the permanent collection of the Elliot Museum in Stuart, Florida.
There were two more cast , finished and purchased. The molds for all the different versions of this sculpture were destroyed in the fire at my casting studio in 2016. The editions are all closed.
