Firenze Angel (that is Florence in Italian) is a bronze wall relief inspired by depictions of angels created during the Renaissance in that capital of art and culture. There is a smile that seems to grow larger as the angel’s eyes meets you – the viewer.
That element, of looking directly into a viewer’s eyes, from a painting or sculpture was also an intriguing, and, effective part of Renaissance paintings and sculptures.
This Firenze Angel has a lovely reddish- brown patina and measures 11 inches in height by 12 inches in width. It is priced at $600. She brings a peaceful aura to any home. This is the last one available from our gallery.
