Figurative Sculptures

In Western society the human figure is the foundation of our artistic heritage. My explorations of this have focused on the nobility and beauty of the nude as an ideal, whether in a more restful stance as in the Venus Torso or in the moment of the sublime as in This Man Who Flies. The human figure provides the clearest line of communication between sculpture and viewer.
